11 Members and 6 Guests enjoyed an autumnal days golf at the great East Herts Golf Course
The course was in magnificent condition, with true greens and well manicured fairways.
All enjoyed an excellent days golf and expansive lunch – (no need to eat again for the rest of the day!!!!!)
All prizes were keenly contested with Guest Andrew Richardson winning nearest the pin and our own David Bennett nearest the pin in two. Team winners were John Campbell and Guest Gary Kan with Gary also picking up the Guest Prize on 37 points from Jo Winter on 33.
New Member Richard Hutchinson on 36 points (cut 1) narrowly lost out to Presidents Cup winner David Wannerton on 37 points (cut 2). Congratulations to David!!!
Next year we will try the morning tee time out again but will move it to the first week in November (actually 2nd November 2017) to distance this event both from the Tour and half-term!!!
The next events are golf at Letchworth on 28th December 2016 and the AGM and Elena’s L’Etoile on 9th February 2017. Put them in your diary, details to follow!!!
