11 Members and 6 Guests enjoyed an autumnal days golf at the great East Herts Golf Course
The course was in magnificent condition, with true greens and well manicured fairways.

Tour Extension 2016
Four Members took to the road after the main tour and experienced the 3 best courses in the south of Spain, namely La Reserva, Valderrama and Finca. Wow they were magnificent (even if our golf wasn’t quite good enough to give justice to the venues)
A great time was had by all.

EPIC Tour 2016 – La Quinta – 7th – 9th October
This years tour was to La Quinta Resort near Marbella.
11 EPIC members took the trip and entered the spirit of the Ryder Cup format with gusto. Thanks to Nick Archer for organising the trip.

Sandy Lodge – 22nd September 2016
Sandy Lodge proved to be a great test although the greens were slower than on our previous visits.
The weather was fair and mainly sunny and warm, just a drop or two of r

There was some good scoring with Charles Gjertsen and his guest Brian Christian winning the team prize with 47 points from Ken Adams supported by his guest Andy Ritchie on 45 points.
The Guest Winner was Andy Ritchie on 38 points playing off 9.
The Autumn Cup for EPIC Members was hotly contested with Paul Houghton (38 points) (cut 1) losing out on count-back to Neil Meixner (cut 2).

Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Visit
Ben Hurworth, David Bennett and Neil Meixner were delighted to accept an invitation to visit North Weald Airbase on 27th June 2016 to see the helicopter that the EPIC charitable donations are currently helping to support.
